Nellie Midgett Farrow: We came on the Mailboat

Nellie Midgett Farrow was born in 1913. In a 2002 interview, she recalled the consolidation of the schools in Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo, and attending school in Manteo. In a photograph by Barbara Garrity-Blake, Mrs. Farrow is pictured with her daughter, Jackie Wenberg, in Waves. NC.
